Michael Moore Paints Grim Picture Of Biden’s 2024 Odds

(RightWing.org) – President Joe Biden still seems to believe he can win a second term in the White House, but others are losing faith. Even far-left movie maker Michael Moore seems pessimistic. In a recent interview, he warned that Biden is losing the youth vote — and his chances of reelection are fading.

On April 29, Moore, best known for his controversial “documentary” movies, appeared on CNN’s “The Source.” During the interview, hostess Kaitlan Collins brought up a recent poll that shows 81% of young voters — those aged between 18 and 35 — aren’t happy with how Biden’s handling the war between Israel and the Hamas terrorist group.

Moore clearly had strong opinions about the poll. Telling Collins he’d “like to speak to one particular individual,” then confirming that he meant Biden, he warned that discontent over the Gaza war could cost Biden the presidency. Moore said “he’s losing the youth vote. He’s lost the Arab-American vote in Michigan.”

Of course, Moore is well known for his extreme left-wing views, and this isn’t the first time he’s criticized the Biden administration for its lukewarm backing of Israel. In March he cited an older poll, from last November, that found 70% of younger voters disapproved of Biden’s policy on the war, and warned that while young liberal voters would never vote for Donald Trump they might just not vote at all — and hand Donald Trump a victory by default. Moore’s solution? He told Collins “We need an immediate ceasefire,” something Israel has rejected unless it gets its hostages back.

Moore insists he’s trying to rescue Biden, but there’s a problem. Turning against Israel might improve Biden’s popularity among younger voters, but overall, a large majority of Americans support the Jewish state over Hamas. If Biden tries to please young leftists, he’s going to annoy everyone else. Either way, the Gaza war is doing damage to his chances of a second term.
