(RightWing.org) – The world has watched as the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) and the country’s Prime Minister (PM) Benjamin Netanyahu have waged a multi-front battle against the Islamic Republic of Iran and their terrorist proxies Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis. The primary focus has been on the Gaza Strip and the plight of the Palestinians living there who end up in the line of fire as the cowards who attacked innocent civilians in Israel use their own people as human shields by hiding in or under schools and hospitals.
Despite the terrorists’ actions and the Israeli government’s claims with supporting evidence that the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) has hundreds of Hamas members on its payroll and acting on its behalf, they are the ones being vilified for the humanitarian crisis. On college campuses across the United States, pro-Palestinian groups have conducted protests and erected encampments. Now, a blue state and city university president who decided to take action against students who had gone too far is facing backlash from the liberal cabal that has taken over America’s education system.

When a group of protesters illegally occupied the campus of New York City’s Columbia University, President Nemat “Minouche” Shafik asked the NYPD to come in and dislodge them because of the disruption they were causing to campus life. This has caused the Leftist elites to wail and gnash their teeth from their ivory towers and one group of them announced that they had issued a “Resolution of No Confidence” in her leadership.
The resolution, put forth by the school’s chapter of the American Association of University Professors in the Arts & Sciences department, claims that they were left aghast at Shafik’s egregious statements being made before a committee of the United States House of Representatives and for dialing up law enforcement. They accused her of making false claims about the danger the students and outside agitators posed “to the substantial functioning of the University.” They claimed that “HER [emphasis added] draconian and disproportionate punishments have endangered their futures.”
The professors based their point of view on a statement attributed to NYPD Chief of Patrol John Chell who told reporters that the protesters were peaceful and did not resist arrest, which the people with more degrees than a full circle used to describe the whole situation.
However, in response to a post made by Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez a.k.a. AOC (D-NY) on her X page demonizing the police, Chell slammed her perspective explaining that actions have consequences which is “something the kids were never taught” although they have been liberally infused with a large dose of self-entitlement.

One could be forgiven for holding to the point of view that the Liberal politicians and media are in full vitriolic meltdown in their defense of the terrorist organizations and their disdain of the police and the rule of law. One big question is whether or not the American public will repudiate their positions when it’s time to head to the ballot box in November.
