In the name of removing “hate speech” and “fake news,” YouTube just took down over 100,000 videos, 17,000 channels, and 500 million comments. Those numbers are roughly five times higher than Q1 of this year.
You tube removes more than 100000 videos. Censorship on steroids.
Btw you tube is also closing accounts but they are somewhat silent about it.

Apparently, much of the removed content was previously permitted before YouTube enacted its new “moderation” policy this summer. Though the social media site claims to only remove “hate speech,” it’s difficult to believe them when they ban widely-known right-wing figures. There’s no telling how many conservative channels were included in this recent wave of deletions.
Meanwhile, the YouTube algorithm gives more visibility to legacy news outlets like MSN and CNN than to independent and right-wing political channels. YouTube is propping up fake news networks over factual content. When in doubt, follow the money.
