(RightWing.org) – Senate Republicans are on board with the idea of confirming a Supreme Court nominee in the wake of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s passing. That has Democrats furious.
In the latest salvo, the party is threatening to “pack the Court” if Trump and the Republicans go through with the nomination and confirmation of a Supreme Court justice. There are growing calls for Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden to support the cause. However, back in 2019, he didn’t think is was a good idea.

Fast forward to September 22, 2020. On a local TV interview on Tuesday morning, Biden refused to answer if he would support expanding the court. He said it would shift the focus on what he thinks is important.
When asked about the idea during the primaries, Biden said Democrats could add three justices. Then, when Republicans gain control, they’ll add three justices. Then, the court loses its legitimacy.
Will Biden change his position now and risk infuriating his voter base?
Packing the Court would be considerably more complicated than most people realize. It also assumes that Trump loses the election and the Senate flips parties in November.
There are no guarantees that will happen.
