Why the CDC Wants Vaccine Sites Ready By November

(RightWing.org) – The scientists and pharma companies working with President Donald Trump’s on “Operation Warp Speed” are already conducting clinical trials for potential COVID-19 vaccines. And it turns out, a new treatment may be very close to coming to market. At least, that’s what the director of the CDC believes.

According to reports, the CDC asked states to begin preparing vaccine sites.

During a September 2 interview with Yahoo Finance, Director Dr. Robert Redfield said he wants to prepare sites in advance for what he believes will become reality: that scientists will have “one or more vaccines available for us in November, December.” The director explained experts will have to figure out a way to distribute the medication in a “fair and equitable way.”

When a vaccine finally comes to market, it’s believed that the most vulnerable will receive it first. That includes healthcare workers who have been on the frontline of the COVID-19 fight. Although some people are raising concerns about the safety of a potential immunization, Dr. Anthony Fauci and other experts have said distibution would only happen if the trials are overwhelmingly positive.
