Mass Shooting in El Paso Claims 20 Lives
A 26-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of mass murder after 20 people were shot dead Saturday at a Walmart store in El Paso, TX. Another 26 people were injured in the attack, which the FBI is treating as domestic terrorism.
Witnesses say the shooter walked into the store around 10:40 am, carrying a sporting rifle, and opened fire; at least one person says he shot at people in the parking lot before entering the store.
Several lives were saved when US Army PFC Glendon Oakley drew his own weapon and went repeatedly back into danger to rescue kids who had been separated from their parents. The shooter, believed to be Patrick Wood Crusius, seems to have deliberately targeted children during his rampage, killing four.

9 More Dead in Dayton
Nine more people died in Dayton, OH after a disgruntled man opened fire at the entrance of a bar. Police say they don’t believe there was any political motive to the attack — they’re working on the belief that the shooter was turned away from the bar and came back with a rifle wearing a bullet-proof vest and ear protection.
Twenty-four-year-old Connor Stephen Betts of Bellbrook, OH, who was shot dead at the scene by police less than a minute after the shooting started, is the only suspect in the killings. Former classmates say Betts has a track record of making violent threats. His 22-year-old sister was among the victims.

California DOC Buries Kamala Harris Prosecution Records
The race for the Democrat nomination is heating up and turning ugly, with moderate candidates under increasing fire from the party’s more radical wing. Now at least one heavyweight contender is running scared — and using state officials to bury evidence of their less than liberal past.
Kamala Harris, the former California Attorney General, is locked in a battle with Tulsi Gabbard right now about her record as a prosecutor. Gabbard says Harris was too tough on minor drug offenders and ethnic minorities; Harris says she wasn’t — and, as of this weekend, the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation has made it impossible to check.
Up to now, it’s been possible to search records of everyone incarcerated in the state back to at least 2009. Suddenly, all that’s available is a report for this spring — well after Harris stepped down from the role.
Bill Maher: “Dems Are Crazy”
Liberal comedian Bill Maher has blasted the Democratic Party for its hard-left policies, saying the candidates’ focus on “out-lefting” each other is going to cost them next year’s election. He focused on open borders and free college as policies that are going to go down badly with the American people, saying Dems look like
unserious people who are going to take away all your money so migrants from Honduras can go to college for free and get a major in ‘America sucks’.
All the Democrats have to do to win is to come off less crazy than Trump — and, of course, they’re blowing it.
