(RightWing.org) – Liberal MSM outlets and Democrats have been highly critical of Trump’s push for hydroxychloroquine to be used with COVID-19 patients. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, especially, regularly provides scathing commentary about how the president has handled this crisis. Now that the dust has settled and hydroxychloroquine has been used in a limited capacity, the governor is changing his tune.
Cuomo, after seeing the anecdotal success of administering hydroxychloroquine with azithromycin, is now requesting an increased supply of the drug.

While there is still more data required to formulate a scientific consensus on the drug’s effectiveness, there is reason to be hopeful. Preliminary results show that in certain situations where hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin were used together, patients experienced less severe symptoms of COVID-19. Trump said it himself during a recent press conference, “I’m not a doctor, but I have common sense.” It’s a shame that liberals don’t have a little more common sense.
It’s important to note that this combination of drugs is experimental, and even experts only have preliminary and anecdotal results. Certain individuals are unable to take hydroxychloroquine as a result of either underlying health conditions or drug interactions from their current prescriptions. The data gathered from hydroxychloroquine trials needs to be rigorously verified by scientists before a blanket recommendation can be given.
