Trump Sounds Off on Stimulus and More

( – On Wednesday afternoon, July 1, President Donald Trump sat down with Fox Business’ Blake Burman to discuss the state of the nation. The two men discussed a wide range of topics including Joe Biden, stimulus payments and police officers.

The president said he supports another stimulus package with direct payments to the American people. He’s even in favor of “larger numbers than the Democrats” as long as it’s “done properly.”

Trump also talked about NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio (D) eliminating $1 billion from the NYPD budget. The president said he’s a “big fan” of law enforcement officers in the city, but the mayor is not treating them well.

Finally, the commander-in-chief sounded off about presumed Democrat nominee Joe Biden and said he believes the former vice president will destroy the stock market gains. The people surrounding him are “radical Left” and if he were elected “it would be a disaster.”

Trump has always spoken to the American people, but expect to see more of him as the election approaches. On July 3, the president will speak at a rally at Mount Rushmore in South Dakota.
