(RightWing.org) – Donald Trump is the jobs president, there’s no doubt about it. Before the COVID-19 pandemic hit, unemployment was at a 50-year low in the US. Obviously, the commander-in-chief wants to get Americans back to that place as soon as possible and that’s why his latest move is so great.
On June 26, President Trump signed an executive order (EO) requiring federal agencies to focus on applicants’ skills, not their college degrees, when hiring. Ivanka Trump, co-chair of the American Workforce Policy Advisory Board, said her father has “built the most inclusive workforce” in history and he’s going to “rebuild it.”
.@realDonaldTrump is a champion for America’s workers.
Today he’ll sign an EO directing the USG to hire on the basis of skills + knowledge rather than simply degree requirements.
President Trump built the most inclusive economy once and will do it again. https://t.co/kWMqbhWwSI

The new rule means people who have great skills won’t get passed over just because they didn’t go to college. For far too many years, good-paying jobs have been placed out of reach for blue-collar workers because of their lack of a degree. Finally, the US has a president who understands everyone deserves an opportunity, not just the elite.
