(RightWing.org) – When Barack Obama and Joe Biden ran for the White House in 2008 and 2012, the National Association of Police Organizations (NAPO) endorsed their ticket twice. Of course, that was before the Democratic Party became anti-police. If the former vice president was expecting the law enforcement union to be on his side this time around, he is going to be sorely disappointed.
On July 15, NAPO endorsed President Donald Trump. The union praised the commander-in-chief for his “steadfast” support of law enforcement. Michael McHale, the organization’s president, said Trump’s leadership is needed as so much animosity is directed at the men and women in blue who put their lives on the line to protect Americans every day.
McHale said they “particularly value” Trump directing Attorney General Bill Barr to “aggressively prosecute those who attack our officers.”

Law enforcement needs a strong president now more than ever. Officers are under attack every day by radical Leftists who want to defund their departments and make the country less safe. NAPO believes President Trump is the leader they need.
