(RightWing.org) – Social media platforms are no stranger to censorship when they see something they don’t like. Often that something is said by President Donald Trump. And now, Twitter is trying to clamp down on him. Twitter gave a warning for users, asking them to fact check what the president says.
In reality, this has nothing to do with fact-checking. As political commentator Terrence K. Williams points out, Trump supporters are facing a variety of issues on the platform, including shadow banning.
Twitter I will sue you if you don’t stop now!
STOP UNFOLLOWING PEOPLE FROM PAGE!
Why do people have re-follow me over and over!
STOP SHADOW BANNING MY ACCOUNT.
Why are people not seeing my content anymore ?
THIS IS HOW THEY DO TRUMP SUPPORTERS

Trump expressed how many Republicans feel they’re being specifically targeted and censored.
Republicans feel that Social Media Platforms totally silence conservatives voices. We will strongly regulate, or close them down, before we can ever allow this to happen. We saw what they attempted to do, and failed, in 2016. We can’t let a more sophisticated version of that….

He also mentioned potentially regulating these companies or shutting them down. Immediately after Trump’s posts, market shares went down. If these companies keep getting away with unfair censorship based on political agendas, maybe they should be shut down.
