Trump Distances Himself From Impeachment Circus

Last month, President Trump announced he was considering personally taking place in the impeachment nonsense. However, showing up to testify might legitimize the Democrats’ witch hunt against him. After weighing all the consequences, Trump has decided not to participate in this circus act.

“Under the current circumstances, we do not intend to participate in your Wednesday hearing… an invitation to an academic discussion with law professors does not begin to provide the president with any semblance of a fair process.”

-Pat Cipollone, White House Counsel for President Trump

No matter what Trump says, it would never be enough to change the minds of the “Never Trumpers” sitting in Congress. So, he’s leaving the rest of this farce in the hands of trusted allies. The House Judiciary Committee’s first hearing on Wednesday is being dealt with by competent GOP leaders including Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) and Rep. John Ratcliffe (R-TX).

After all, if the Ukrainian President has also taken Trump’s side, there truly is nothing to discuss.
