Trump Cheered At Army-Navy Game

President Trump has faced some disgraceful abuse at recent sporting events, so he was probably thrilled to get a much warmer welcome at this year’s Army-Navy game. The 120th faceoff between the two service academies took place at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field, with the president carrying out the coin toss. Navy won the toss, and decided to let Army take the ball first.

Before the game, Trump spoke to both teams in their locker rooms, presenting them with a new Executive Order that lets military academy graduates signed by professional football teams defer their service until their pro career ends.

When the president walked onto the field for the coin toss, wearing a MAGA hat with the number 45, he was greeted by enthusiastic cheers from the crowd of mostly West Point Cadets and Navy Midshipmen. By tradition, he then watched half the game from the Army stands and the other half from Navy.

Navy took the game 31-7.
