Trump Boo'd at World Series Game

President Trump was booed and abused by a baseball crowd Sunday night, in a typical display of the Left’s childishness. The president and first lady were at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. to watch the Washington Nationals play the Houston Astros in Game 5 of the World Series, but faced hostile chants from the local crowd.

Early in the game, the president and Melania were shown on the park’s main screen — and this prompted an outburst of jeers from left-wingers in the crowd. Chants of “lock him up” can be heard on video, along with boos.

While most of the abuse came from fans, the Nationals management helped set the stage for it. Instead of following tradition by inviting the president to throw the first pitch, they gave that honor to celebrity chef Jose Andrés. Andrés has criticized the president repeatedly, and in 2018 started a feud with Ivanka Trump after he accused her of trying to eject him from a party in Georgetown; he later admitted that he wasn’t on the guest list and the refusal to let him in didn’t have anything to do with Ivanka anyway.

Inviting a public opponent of President Trump to throw the first pitch was a clear snub to the president and showed huge disrespect to his office and the nation.
