(RightWing.org) – President Biden hasn’t been having a lot of luck when it comes to appointing officials to his administration. Now another nomination has run into problems – this time for taking part in Chinese communist propaganda.
On June 11, Biden nominated Professor Carlton Waterhouse of Howard University as an Assistant Administrator at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The EPA is promoting him as “an international expert on… reparations and redress for historic injustices” – meaning his focus will be on redistributing wealth to ethnic minorities – but Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) calls him “a political activist who supports fringe environmental and racist policies.” Now, it looks like Cotton’s description is nearer the mark.

On August 11, it emerged Waterhouse had appeared on CGTN America – which is run by the Propaganda Department of the Chinese Communist Party – to call for the defunding of US police forces last year. He said, “we should reallocate the funds that are used for policing toward the actual services that are needed by communities,” nixing any defense that he doesn’t mean literally defunding the police.
Why does our president want to appoint someone who appeared on a communist propaganda channel calling for a breakdown of law and order?
