How can America take a completely anonymous claim seriously? Especially one supported so vehemently by Democrats
The case of the missing whistleblower is an extremely important one right now. Impeachment proceedings against Trump are going forward and the individual who sparked the movement remains out of the picture. His identity may never be released for all we know.
After nearly a month after the whistleblower’s claim was released, we still know nothing about this person. Trump is asking (again) where the individual is.
Where’s the Whistleblower?
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 23, 2019
Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) and Mark Zaid, the whistleblower’s representative, are doing everything in their power to protect this individual. Schiff believes that a compelling case can be made without disclosing his or her identity. Meanwhile, Zaid is apparently concerned for his client’s safety.
Republican Representatives have sent Schiff a letter conveying their concerns about protecting the anonymity of the whistleblower. However, it’s unlikely that anything substantive will come from their efforts.
What do you think about the whistleblower remaining anonymous? Is this proper procedure, or are the Dems trying to hide something bigger in their most recent secretive meetings? Tell us in the comments!
