Texas Woman ARRESTED After Being Exposed for Fraud by Project Veritas

(RightWing.org) – A San Antonio woman has been arrested for election fraud after an investigation by a conservative activist group. The arrest turns a spotlight on the issue of ballot harvesting, a controversial tactic promoted by the left.

Rachel Rodriguez, a San Antonio woman who describes herself as a “political consultant,” was arrested on January 13 on charges of illegal voting, unlawfully assisting people voting by mail, and unlawfully possessing an official ballot. Project Veritas filmed Rodriguez as she collected ballots from retired people. In the process, she persuaded them to change their vote from Republican to Democrat.

In the hours of video evidence reviewed by the Texas Attorney General’s office, Rodriguez admitted that she broke the law. Now she faces up to 20 years in prison. Following her arrest, Attorney General Ken Paxton slammed those who claim there was no evidence of election fraud, saying, “We’ve always known that such a claim is false and misleading.” He added, “And today, we have additional hard evidence.”
