Supporting American Manufacturing and Innovation

( – The COVID-19 pandemic swept across the country this year, wreaking havoc in its wake. The resulting economic crisis has strained the country’s resources leading to a massive economic collapse.

In times like these, it’s important to put American manufacturing and innovation first. For instance, were it not for our great scientists and innovators, the country wouldn’t have been able to discover not one but two COVID-19 vaccines in less than a year. And it gets better. There is a third one expected to receive an Emergency Use Authorization in January 2021.

Then again, innovation isn’t enough — certainly not in this instance. America also needs its manufacturing industry to produce the vaccines. It’s also required, along with innovators, to develop, mass-produce, and distribute materials needed to store and dispense the vaccines.

Additionally, both the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines require special high-tech refrigerated storage units for proper storage. Otherwise, it can’t remain viable. And, that means having the teams to develop and manufacture the units as needed.

Putting America first is always a good idea. However, nowadays, the country’s very survival may depend on it.
