(RightWing.org) – As of Sunday night, at least seven Republican senators had put themselves in self-isolation after potentially being exposed to the coronavirus. This is a serious blow to the administration as they struggle against Democrat obstructionism to get a coronavirus relief bill through the Senate.
As Senate Republicans try to push through a $1.8 trillion relief bill — another vote is planned for this morning — Sens. Rand Paul, Mitt Romney and Mike Lee won't be able to vote. All are in self-quarantine after Paul's positive coronavirus test. https://t.co/Pzq2Wvqnlu

Early Monday, NPR reported that three GOP senators had put themselves in self-quarantine; Rand Paul (R-KY) tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2, and Mike Lee (R-UT) and Mitt Romney (R-UT), who had spent time with Paul, also isolated themselves.
Four more Republican senators were already self-quarantined; Cory Gardner (R-CO), Rick Scott (R-FL) and Ted Cruz (R-TX) have been isolated for several days now. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) spent several days in isolation but has now tested negative for the virus.
With several senators unable to travel or vote, it’s going to be harder for the administration to pass the vital funding bill it’s put together to save the economy from collapse. Democrats are holding it up in an attempt to add a “wish list” of progressive demands.
Let’s hope they can start working together for the good of the people.
