In a rare, but welcome, pleasant surprise in the world of politics, the RNC broke another fundraising record in August. Another $23.5 million was added to the RNC’s cause for a grand total of $53.8 million in the coffers.
This is a fantastic sign of things to come during 2020!

On the other side of the aisle, the DNC managed to raise only $7.7 million in July, while the RNC brought home $20.8 in the very same month. The DNC was only left with $9 million by the end of July. Democrats are going to have to step up their game if they truly want to compete in 2020.
Last, but certainly not least, there’s Trump’s fundraising. The Trump campaign, combined with the RNC, pulled in a total of $210 million since the beginning of 2019. This is more than all of the DNC candidates combined.
Even the financial numbers show that Trump is way ahead of anyone else. While a lot can happen over the course of a year, Trump’s re-election seems to be all but certain.
