(RightWing.org) – A Texas lawmaker has called for Vice President Harris to be stripped of responsibility for security on our southern border and replaced by someone who’ll actually do the job. And, worryingly for Harris, it’s a fellow Democrat who wants her gone.

On November 17, Representative Henry Cuellar (D-TX) told reporters he’s now bypassing Vice President Harris when dealing with border issues. He says he’s now working with ambassadors, the State Department and Homeland Security because they’re more cooperative and actually get things done.
Since border czar Roberta Jacobson unexpectedly quit in April, the post has been vacant. Instead, President Biden made Harris responsible for stopping the flood of illegal immigrants across the Mexican border. Sadly, Harris has been less of a czar and more of a Nero, fiddling while Rome burns. Right now, illegal crossings are running at three times the average for the last decade, while Harris ignores the problem.
Currently, Cuellar is working with the US Ambassador to Mexico to strengthen cooperation on border security. As for working with Harris, he gave up. “I don’t think she’s, with all due respect, put the effort in there,” he said. “We’ve got to look at other folks.” Cuellar wants Harris replaced as border supremo. Maybe it’s time she was replaced as vice president, too.
