Reagan Foundation Abruptly Orders Trump Campaign to Stop Using Ronald Reagan for Political Ads

(RightWing.org) – The Reagan Foundation has caved to pressure from the liberal media.

For decades, the Reagan Foundation used to help Republican candidates running for office. This year, all that’s changed.

According to a report by the Washington Post, in a complete reversal, the swamp-controlled Reagan Foundation has just ordered Donald Trump to STOP using Ronald Reagan’s photos in campaign ads to fundraise ahead of the 2020 election. They are purposely targeting Donald Trump.

Reagan Foundation Goes After Trump

According to the Post, representatives from the Reagan Foundation called the Republican National Committee (RNC) to ask that the organization and the Trump Make America Great Again Committee stop offering a commemorative coin with Reagan’s face on it. Melissa Giller, Chief Marketing Officer for the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation, told the newspaper the RNC agreed to stop using the former president’s likeness for Trump’s reelection campaign.

Interestingly, the chair of the Reagan Foundation board is the publisher and CEO of The Washington Post, Frederick J. Ryan Jr. The newspaper is also owned by Trump’s nemesis Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon. Is he targeting the president through his employees?

Trump Responds

On July 26, President Trump called the foundation out for its swampiness.

Ronald Reagan was a staunch Republican whose values very much aligned with President Trump. It’s highly unlikely the 40th president would have ever done something like this in life, but the current head of his foundation seems to have it out for the commander-in-chief. It’s very shady.
