The construction of a private border wall is being forcibly halted thanks to — you’ll never guess why — a butterfly sanctuary.
Yes, this is real.
We Build the Wall is a group founded by a US Air Force veteran who strongly believes in the border wall project. After witnessing the constant sandbagging by Democrats with the wall’s construction, the group wanted to take matters into their own hands. So, they began construction along one segment of the border.
The group ran into an obstacle.
A temporary restraining order was issued in response to lawsuit filed by the National Butterfly Center, which is located next to the private property where We Build The Wall plans on putting up a border barrier. https://t.co/TNHX7VBVhk

The National Butterfly Center spans 100 acres as home to over 200 species of butterflies. Located in Mission, Texas, the center just so happens to own land right around the US-Mexico border. The butterfly protectorate deemed the group’s private wall building as “illegal,” and State District Judge Keno Vasquez of Texas, ruled in favor of the butterflies.
This just goes to show the sort of opposition America is facing when it comes to securing our country.
