President Trump, First Lady Test Positive for COVID-19

( – One month remains until the presidential election, and one has to wonder, what else can happen between now and then? A Supreme Court justice passed away, and a nomination fight is ensuing. The debates are stoking animosity. This week, new revelations came to light in Senate hearings about former FBI leaders and their wronging doings against the president. Riots are continuing in some cities. Now, President Trump and the First Lady Melania Trump tested positive for COVID-19.

The president announced the positive test results at approximately 1:00 am on Friday, October 2. The president is tested daily. According to media speculation, he may have contracted the virus from senior aide Hope Hicks. Hicks traveled with Trump to the Tuesday presidential debate in Cleveland, OH, and a campaign rally in Duluth, MN, on Wednesday.

White House Commander Sean Conley forwarded an official letter to White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany. Dr. Conley said the president would continue to work in the White House while he and the First Lady recover. McEnany tweeted that America is united, strong and that the president will continue to put the People first.
