Pelosi CAREER BLOW – This Could Finish Her For Good
(RightWing.org) – The Supreme Court is considering overturning Roe v. Wade, and even before the decision is made, the Democrats are gearing up for a huge fight over it. For one veteran lawmaker it could be the last big fight of her long career — and, for the rest of us, it could be a dangerous distraction from the country’s real issues.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has been in Congress since 1987 and has been Speaker for seven of those years. She’s one of the most influential people in the legislature. Now, the rumor in the Democratic Party is that, at 82 years old, she’s finally looking beyond politics — and the fight to replace her is already starting to simmer.
Now, with the end of her career in sight, Pelosi is focusing on the abortion debate. On May 9, she wrote to fellow House Dems to lay out her strategy for the upcoming battle, and it’s clear she sees the issue as a key one in November’s midterm elections. The question is, do the American people share her priorities?
Right now, the fate of Roe v. Wade probably isn’t at the front of most people’s minds. The US has serious problems that urgently need solving — the flood of illegal immigrants across our southern border, the eye-watering national debt, our floundering foreign policy and, most of all, the crippling inflation we’re now experiencing. Instead of dealing with these issues, though, Pelosi and other House Dems want to focus their energy on abortion. Will that gain them votes in November, or is Pelosi making her biggest and final mistake?
