NRA Raised Big Money in August

( – Just a few months ago, Democrats and the liberal media wrote off the National Rifle Association (NRA). In July, New York Attorney General Letitia James even filed a lawsuit intending to dissolve the organization. For decades the NRA has been a thorn in the side of liberal Democrats who want to diminish, or even abolish, the Second Amendment. Now it seems the American people are having their say.

In August, the gun advocacy group raised more than $1.7 million and added 100,000 new members — despite the bad press and the COVID-19 pandemic.

The NRA raised almost $240,000 more than it did in its best month of 2019. The organization cites it’s August cash haul as proof that America wants to protect Second Amendment rights ahead of the presidential election.

The NRA says that the Biden/Harris ticket is the most anti-gun presidential ticket in US history. The Democratic duo is backed by heavyweight anti-gun advocates. The NRA endorsed Donald Trump in 2016 and has done so again in 2020.

While the NRA’s legal issues are still waiting to be resolved in court, supporters appear unphased and ready to defend their constitutional rights to gun ownership.
