(RightWing.org) – The 2020 campaign season is in full swing. Next month, President Donald Trump will formally accept the Republican nomination at the party’s convention in Jacksonville, FL. And when he does, it’ll be with a lot more money in his coffers.
On July 1, the Republican National Committee (RNC) announced they’d had a record-breaking month for campaign donations. The Trump campaign and party’s committee raised $131 million in June. The amount “eclipses the total raised” during any single month during the lead-up to the 2016 election, according to the RNC. Combined, the two organizations pulled in $266 million in quarter two.
The RNC & @TeamTrump brought in a massive, record-setting $266 MILLION in Q2 — a 71% increase over Q1.
We are growing our grassroots army every day to re-elect @realDonaldTrump and Republicans.
Unlike Biden, enthusiasm is on our side!

The amount raised shows President Trump’s campaign certainly isn’t lacking enthusiasm. If this keeps up, he’ll be in a very healthy position when the campaigns heat up in the fall.
