If you’ve ever had a child, or know someone who has, you probably understand the care that goes into picking a baby name.
To some parents, this is largely enjoyable and fun, while others become worrywarts over picking the perfect name. Sometimes parents will pick a strong name that’s been in the family for generations. Others need a little guidance in their search for the name of their newborn.
Either way, it’s a decision that will affect that person for the rest of their life.
To help settle this important decision, some parents will consult lists of popular baby names. According to BabyCenter, some popular names include Jackson and Noah for boys and Olivia and Emma for girls. Certain names have been on the list, even if they’ve shifted positions a few times.
However, this year’s list of top 10 baby names, as reported by BabyCenter.com, may shock some parents.
Muhammad has made its way into the top 10 names for boys in the US. Likewise, Aliyah also made the top 10 for girls.
What do you think about this new addition to the top 10 baby names in America?
