New Trove of Mail-In Ballots Found In The Strangest Place

(RightWing.org) – Controversy regarding possible ballot tampering and voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election continues to rage. Making matters worse, inexplicable events like the recent discovery of mail-in ballots scattered along a local California freeway lend credence to concerns about the upcoming midterms elections.

On June 15, Fox 5 San Diego (KSWB-TV) reported it received a message on its Facebook account from a local driver claiming he found four ballots on Route 163 while changing a flat tire on his car.

The driver, Brent Walters, said he found the ballots along with some other unopened envelopes on June 7, the same day California held its statewide primary elections. Walters said he photographed the ballots to preserve evidence of his discovery before notifying the San Diego County Registrar’s office.

County Registrar Cynthia Paes sent an email to Fox 5 confirming her office retrieved the unopened ballots from Walters. She also said officials from her office recovered two additional unopened ballot envelopes and other unrelated postal items after visiting the site where Walters said he made his discovery.

Paes’ office referred the matter to US Postal Service officials. Postal Inspector Patricia Mendoza said investigators were currently looking into the incident. She declined to provide additional information citing the ongoing nature of the probe.

What do you think? Do you find this discovery troubling regardless of the candidates listed on the ballots?
