Mitt Romney Publicly Admits He Thinks Trump’s Coronavirus Orders Are Legal Amid Pushback From Democrats

(RightWing.org) – Democrats refused to compromise on a coronavirus relief bill in the midst of a national pandemic. So, President Donald Trump took care of the people: He issued four executive orders to help get us through the crisis.

But Democrats were FURIOUS with the decision. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) even claimed that what Trump did was unconstitutional!

However, one of Trump’s biggest critics in the US Senate, Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT), has finally caved and admitted he thinks what the president did to help Americans amid the coronavirus outbreak was, in fact, legal. The announcement is another major victory for the Trump campaign ahead of the 2020 election.

Romney Admits Trump’s Orders Were Legal

During an August 10 interview on KSL Newsradio’s “Live Mic,” Romney said he believes the president’s executive orders are based on a “tenuous” legal position, but that they’ll stand up under scrutiny. The senator said his legal team looked at the policy directives and they think Trump “has a good, reasonable case” and he’s got “the authority to do what he has described.”

This admission by Romney further proves the president did the right thing. This is a guy who Trump once called a “loser,” there is no love between the two of them.

When even the president’s enemies are being forced to admit he did the right thing, you know it’s true. Trump’s number one goal is to protect the American people, and he’s doing that. It doesn’t matter what people like Speaker Pelosi have to say, only what they can prove — and they’ve got nothing.
