(RightWing.org) – It’s no secret that there’s less than no love lost between Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) and President Donald Trump. The two have been sparring for years. Waters has called the president an “egotistical maniac” and worse over the years.
She’s recently used her obvious distaste for Trump to justify Democrats’ unwillingness to reach across the aisle and work with Republicans to come up with a COVID-19 relief package.
Earlier this week, she flipped out during an interview with MSNBC host Joy Reid that aired on December 15. The two discussed the stalled relief bill, with Waters expressing outrage that the American public wanted Democrats to work with Republicans on the package.
Rep. Maxine Waters is against negotiating with GOP on COVID relief: "We're dealing with people willing to undermine democracy … [they] don't have respect for the constitution. You expect us to sit down with them and for them to negotiate in good faith?"pic.twitter.com/u2bF4ai9H5

Her excuse for not doing so? She blamed it on the president’s legal efforts to ensure only legal votes get counted in the 2020 presidential election. According to her, the president’s lawsuits constitute “voter suppression.”
Continuing, she blasted Republicans for siding with the president and refusing to stand up for the Constitution and American democracy.
Perhaps she should take a moment and look in the mirror before making such absurd accusations. What’s un-democratic is the Liberals’ inability to put Americans first instead of their own selfish anti-Trump agenda.
