Mark Zuckerberg Has A NEW Leftist Election Plan – He’s Not Hiding It This Time
(RightWing.org) – In 2020, Democratic groups and activists did all they could to persuade voters to cast ballots against former President Donald Trump. Despite the loud noise, there was also an orchestrated get-out-the-vote campaign. Still, it doesn’t always matter how much money activist groups use to influence voters if left-wing money can affect those who count the votes. So, instead of choosing one over the other, Democrats pursued increasing voter turnout against Trump and influencing local election officials.
The Center for Tech and Civic Life (CTCL) is a non-partisan, non-profit group. Yet, it used millions of dollars donated from groups such as Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s group, the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. Now, the alleged non-partisan group is planning to dump millions of dollars into a new election plot.
Non-Profit Using Previous Election Model to Influence Upcoming Elections
In September 2020, Zuckerberg’s group donated $250 million to the CTCL to funnel money into the Democratic districts. Seventeen Democrat-dominated cities and counties received the lion’s share of funds totaling over $51 million. Republican-led districts received a paltry $300,000. The CTCL essentially encouraged mail-in voting campaigns in Democratic communities and even allegedly accessed mail-in ballots ahead of the election.
According to InfluenceWatch.org, CTCL emphasizes left-wing voting policies and helps fund the administration of elections in Democratic districts. The watchdog group added that the supposed non-partisan organization had created strong tentacles into local election offices across the country.
Ahead of the 2022 midterm elections, polls suggest Republicans could flip the House, and optimism is growing that they will retake the Senate, too. That’s leading to panic among Democrats and their far-left supporters. Now, the CTCL, as part of the U.S. Alliance for Election Excellence, is preparing to launch an $80 million campaign to expand its influence on elected officials across the country.
Are Democrats Actively Trying to Buy Elections?
It appears entirely possible that America’s election system is for sale. According to the alliances’ website, there isn’t much information about their plans. Still, it states that election offices can apply for recognition as a Center for Election Excellence. If approved, it would receive funding from the group to support election systems.
The group says it’s simply trying to create a support system for local election offices across the country that share similar standards for excellence in elections and their administration.
Still, could outside money from far-left groups provide unfair influence on elections processes? Is it corrupt to receive funds from left-wing groups that target Democratic areas?
There are far more questions than answers.
Perhaps the real question is, is the US election system up for sale to the highest bidder?
If so, doesn’t that run contrary to the Democratic arguments that election integrity is just fine?
