Mail-In Voting Proving to Be Dangerous to Election Results

( – For months, President Trump has warned about the dangers of mail-in voting. The media and Democrats deny the potential for voter fraud or other problems that could arise. It’s early in the process, and already serious problems are creeping up that could put election results in question.

In New York City, 100,000 Brooklyn citizens received botched ballots. Election officials say they will mail new ballots, but that could create even more problems. New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) is trying to stop the new ballots from being sent, saying the problem isn’t with the ballot but the return envelope.

Unfortunately, New York isn’t alone. Pennsylvania’s process could lead to massive confusion and chaos over what’s called a “Naked ballot.” There are two envelopes, and both must be used properly for a vote to count. Some estimates suggest 100,000 votes may not be counted there as a result.

According to a new NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll, only 35% of Americans say they will vote by mail. Half say they will be voting in-person on election day.

There is likely to be more news about mail-in voter issues. Stay tuned, and we’ll keep you up to date.
