(RightWing.org) – Politicians like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT) have made a ruckus about the state of the Democratic party for several years now. They’re at the forefront of a movement to “fix the Democratic party” on a national scale. Now, that notion has trickled down to the state level.
A new coalition calling itself No Corporate Democrats has launched in New Mexico. The group is targeting a handful of state-level Senate Democrats who have blocked liberal policies.
Senators Munoz and Smith want to pat themselves on the back for withholding money from New Mexico families? They should be ashamed of putting corporate needs ahead of their constituents all these years. https://t.co/4dEllEKqC2

No Corporate Democrats take issue with these senators for voting against issues like abortion rights and for prioritizing corporate funding over representing constituents.
This is the fracture in the Democratic party that analysts have been concerned about and it couldn’t come at a worse time for the Democrats with 2020 elections coming up in November. If the Dems continue to splinter, it could mean a good thing for Trump.
