(RightWing.org) – We’d all like to think that one of the highest priorities of any administration in Washington, DC, would be to prioritize the safety of American citizens. However, as the country has seen time and again, President Joe Biden and other Democrats continually put letting illegal aliens walk about freely near the top of their to-do list, sometimes having catastrophic effects on innocent bystanders.
The (Blood) Red Carpet
Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) posted a video of Biden from one of the Democratic Party’s candidate debates from the 2020 presidential primary season, and it seems to show a disturbing attitude for a man who was eventually elected to be president of the United States. He called on asylum-seekers to “surge to the border,” and they responded in droves. Unfortunately, not all were seeking to escape violence — but rather to bring it into America.
On February 25, Limber Lopez Funez, 15, was reported missing from Frederick, Maryland, and law enforcement agencies, including local, state, and members of the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), joined together to search for him. Sadly, all they found were his remains, and authorities have charged six illegal aliens, including several who are allegedly part of the notoriously violent MS-13 Central American gang.
According to a press release posted to the Frederick County Sheriff’s Facebook page, five of the suspects, ranging in age from 20-29, are being held without bond in their Adult Detention center, while the sixth is in custody in Pennsylvania awaiting extradition back to Maryland. It also says ICE has filed detainer notices on all five because of the work of “designated immigration officers (DIO) within [the office’s] 287 (g) Program.”
What should infuriate the public about the Left’s open-door policy at the southern border is the way MS-13 is apparently exploiting the Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) program to get these gang bangers into the United States. Jon Feere, who was an ICE official during former President Donald Trump’s time in office, claimed his sources said three of the suspects’ UAC cases were simply closed out with them released into the country “because of decisions made by immigration judges or ICE.”
Not an Isolated Incident
Sadly, the Funez family isn’t the only one suffering from the loss of a loved one at the hands of one of these monsters being given free rein to roam the country. Another example, also from Maryland, is the case of 20-year-old Kayla Hamilton, whose mother testified before the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration, Integrity, Security, and Enforcement and described her heartbreak and the way her daughter died. [Warning, her account may be disturbing to some].
Kayla had just returned to the trailer she shared with her boyfriend after working the night shift at her job and then went to bed when “the murderer went into [her] room startling her” and proceeded to use the cord from her iPod charger to strangle her. After she died, the suspect allegedly “violently sexually assaulted” the body.
Just two months before the attack, Hamilton’s alleged murderer was released by DHS and HHS to an adult sponsor, even though he’d been arrested as part of the MS-13 gang in El Salvador before crossing the border. And while the order in which the alleged crimes were committed, murder then rape, are sickening, they are important in showing the depravity of some of the people unleashed upon America.
