(RightWing.org) – Biden administration officials are notorious for clashing with reporters from conservative news outlets during press briefings. Former White House press secretary Jen Psaki had several clashes with Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy during her 15-month tenure as President Joe Biden’s mouthpiece. Her replacement, Karine Jean-Pierre (KJP), has followed suit. However, she took a different approach when she steamrolled him during a recent daily press briefing.
On September 21, Doocy apparently decided to step into turbulent waters and dared to ask the press secretary a question about President Joe Biden’s failing efforts to secure the nation’s southern border with Mexico.
KJP spent considerable time boasting about the administration’s so-called successful border policies right before Doocy asked his question. She referred to the president’s enforcement efforts as “humane, safe, and… orderly.”
Doocy followed up by asking what the White House calls it when more than 10,000 migrants are illegally crossing the border “in a single day.”
UNBELIEVABLE: Karine Jean-Pierre just straight up REFUSED to answer questions from Fox News' Peter Doocy after calling on him.

Flustered, the press secretary answered Doocy’s question with one of her own about Republican lawmakers’ approach to border security. “So, what do you call it… when [the] GOP puts forth a,” she asked before trailing off her reply.
The press secretary and Doocy went back and forth for a couple more minutes in what can only be described as a bizarre clash. Doocy kept trying to get an answer from her, and she kept interrupting with repeated use of the word no and other word salad (i.e., “No, no, no, no, no, no, you can’t —”).
KJP eventually ended the tit-for-tat by accusing Doocy of not allowing her to answer the question before calling on another reporter.
Making matters worse, the administration’s border policies clearly aren’t working. RightWing.org recently reported that US Customs and Border Protection agents encountered more than 183,000 migrants in July. Last year, the agency reported about 2.4 million encounters. With more than three months left in the year, they have documented nearly two million in 2023, guaranteeing a significant year-on-year rise.
