(RightWing.org) – Vice President Kamala Harris hasn’t exactly covered herself with glory since President Joe Biden placed her in charge of the crisis at the Mexican border, but now, she’s finally trying to do something. She’s attending a conference – in FRANCE.
Next week, Harris will make her third international trip as VP. Her destination is the Paris Conference on Libya, scheduled for November 12. The conference, jointly organized by France, Germany and Italy, aims to discuss support for Libya’s upcoming elections and plan to handle the foreign jihadis who still infest the North African country. However, Harris could derail those plans because she wants to make it all about migrants and refugees.
VP Kamala Harris will address migration and refugees during her third international trip next week.
She has been criticized at home by Republicans for not focusing enough on the Biden border crisis or visiting U.S.-Mexico border hot spots.

The Biden administration says Harris will “be expressing a deep concern for human rights and the situation of migrants and refugees, and reinforce the imperative of protecting vulnerable people.” That’s likely to annoy the hard-headed Europeans, who’d rather make sure an oil-rich state a short boat ride from their southern borders doesn’t collapse back into civil war.
Of course, it might annoy many Americans, too. When Biden tasked Harris with finding migration solutions, people expected her to deal with the flood of illegal immigrants at our southern border. In over seven months, she’s done nothing. But now, she’s going to fly all the way to Paris to promote the human rights of Libyan refugees? Sorry, Kamala, that isn’t helping.
