Jim Acosta Gets CORNERED On Camera – “You’re A Liar!”

(RightWing.org) – CNN anchor Jim Acosta decided to go after a Republican legislator last week — but it blew up in his face. The liberal journalist made the mistake of cherry-picking quotes too obviously, and got ruthlessly, and very publicly, cut down.

I am repulsed that people gladly take a paycheck to lie and mischaracterize me like this guy, Jim @Acosta.

On April 28, Acosta spoke to Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) outside the US Capitol. He took the chance to bring up last January’s Capitol riots, focusing on a text message she sent to former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows just days after the riot. In the January 17, 2021 message — one of thousands revealed last week by CNN — Greene informed Meadows that “several members” believed the only way to save US democracy was for Trump to declare martial law.

Acosta decided to put a very different spin on Greene’s message; he asked her if she’d sent a text asking Trump to put the military in charge. He also missed the end of the message, when Greene urged Meadows to tell Trump to “declassify as much as possible.”

Outraged at Acosta’s deceptive presentation, Greene hit back hard. Asking him “Why don’t you be honest?” she went on to call him “just another one of those liars on television.” She told him, “You’re accusing me of something and then when you read the actual words it tells another story” — which pretty much sums up the mainstream media’s methods these days.
