Jill Biden APOLOGIZES – She’s So Sorry!
(RightWing.org) – Is President Biden’s habit of making verbal gaffes infectious? It’s starting to look that way after the First Lady made some astonishing comments about Hispanic-Americans. Now she’s apologized for her error — but many Hispanics are deeply offended.

Speaking at the annual conference of UnidosUS — formerly known as La Raza — on July 11, Dr. Jill Biden decided it would be appropriate to praise the diversity of Hispanic Americans by referencing a series of ethnic stereotypes. She told her audience they were as “distinct as the bodegas [sic] of the Bronx, as beautiful as the blossoms of Miami, and as unique as the breakfast tacos here in San Antonio.”
The response from Hispanic Americans was predictable. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) changed his Twitter avatar to a photo of a taco. The National Association of Hispanic Journalists issued a statement that reminded the First Lady “We are not tacos” and urged her to avoid stereotypes while accusing her of lacking “cultural knowledge and sensitivity.” Conservative journalist Jorge Bonilla pointed out that despite admiring bodegas so much, she couldn’t even pronounce the word properly.
The First Lady apologizes that her words conveyed anything but pure admiration and love for the Latino community.

Biden’s team moved quickly to cover her gaffe. Press Secretary Michael LaRosa tweeted an apology on her behalf while leftist activists rallied around, but it seems we can now rely on the First Lady to help make her husband look good by comparison.
