(RightWing.org) – Will there be a second debate after President Trump dropped out of the virtual debate scheduled for October 15? Yes, there likely will be a debate on October 22, but there likely won’t be a third. The question is now turning to who will moderate the debate.
The October 15 debate moderator was supposed to be Steve Scully. However, after a controversial tweet to an anti-Trump activist on Thursday night, October 8, it appears he is driven by anti-Trump bias, leading to questions about his ability to be objective and fair as a questioner.
Some are questioning if Scully meant to private message former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci after Scully removed the tweet. Below is the image of the original tweet, with Scaramuccci’s advice:
Scaramucci was fired by Trump early in his tenure. Since then, the former Trump staffer has become an extreme critic of the president. In the wake of the removed tweet, some are calling for Scully to be disqualified as a moderator. The C-Span journalist worked for Biden while in college in 1978. In 2016, Scully shared an opinion piece titled, “No, Not Trump, Not Ever.”
It may be a moot point, but the tweet demonstrates once again the anti-Trump media will go to any length to ensure Trump loses and Biden wins.
