Iran Fires Missile at Replica US Aircraft in Act of Aggression

(RightWing.org) – The nation of Iran is once again trying to start an unprovoked conflict with the United States.

According to CBS News, Iranian released video footage of Iranian soldiers firing a missile at a replica US aircraft carrier during a military drill. The video was reportedly released as a threat to American officials amid tensions between Tehran and Washington.

Act of Aggression

The attack on the replica aircraft carrier took place on July 28. In the video, you can see paramilitary soldiers from Iran’s Revolutionary Guard fire a missile from a helicopter. According to reports, it was a planned exercise meant to threaten the US.

Iranian Revolutionary Guard Commander-in-Chief General Hossein Salami spoke to reporters and said the point of the mission was both defensive and offensive.

Major General Gholam Ali Rashid, commander of Khatam-al Anbiya Central Headquarter, told the press the army will use “all their power” to respond to any actions they believe cause instability.

The country is clearly trying to intimidate the US military with their actions. In reality, they’ve done nothing but increase tensions in the region.
