America has seen the stark rise in immigration along our southern border in 2019 compared to previous years. It seems that this is a global problem according to a new study. The UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs released a report revealing the continued increase in global immigration rates.
Increase in global number of international migrants continues to outpace growth of the world’s population, according to new estimates released today by @UNDESA Full Report: https://t.co/BnPWQi1MRV (📷: UN DESA) pic.twitter.com/onvguqZ47m

The study’s results all but clarify how dire the immigration problem truly is. While Europe bears the brunt of immigration populations at 82 million, the US is home to 51 million immigrants as of 2019. These numbers, combined with other immigrant populations around the world, add up to 272 million people.
With immigration rates on the rise, America will only see increased security issues along our borders. As a result, 2020 will be a crucial year for America in regards to our immigration policies. If Democrats continue to stand in the way of border security and protecting American sovereignty, then the US may well exceed the entirety of Europe with our immigrant population.
