(RightWing.org) – Hunter Biden and the contents of his now-infamous laptop are once again splashed all over the headlines. However, this time it is his own conveniently timed action that brought him to the top of the media’s news feeds. The current president’s son has filed a lawsuit in a federal court in California naming as defendants former New York City mayor and ex-President Donald Trump’s attorney, Rudy Giuliani, several of his LLCs, his one-time lawyer Robert Costello, and 10 unnamed “Does.”
Wasn’t Before, Is Now
The younger Biden is alleging that some or all of the defendants under several California and federal statutes, hacked into, copied, and obsessed over information “that was taken or stolen from plaintiff’s devices or storage platforms.” The court filings also include a notice that a lawsuit he began on September 13 against former Trump White House aide Garrett Ziegler is “a related case,” and asked that this new case be assigned to the “same District Judge [Hernán Vera] and Magistrate Judge [Karen Stevenson].”
The latter move is of interest because of the timing of the appointments to their positions. Vera was appointed by President Joe Biden and was confirmed on June 13, 2023, after what must’ve been a stellar career in the Los Angeles County Court’s Juvenile Division that began in 2020. Stevenson’s first appointment as a magistrate judge came in 2015, and she was elevated to “chief” on January 1, 2023.
Interestingly, Hunter Biden repeatedly claims ownership of everything on the hard drive in question and is only suing because of how it was accessed and the repeated public releases of emails and photos found on it. The story was first made public by the New York Post in October 2020, during the Trump/Biden presidential election.
At first, in an attempt to prevent its finding from becoming an “October surprise” that could have derailed Biden’s campaign, the Liberal-biased media and operatives from the Leftist administrative state made an attempt to pass this off as a disinformation ploy. Less than a week after the Post published the story, a group of 51 intelligence experts, including such names as former Directors of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Leon Panetta and John Brennan signed a public letter asserting that a Russian agent gave the information to Giuliani.
The now-debunked missive also said, “[It is] our view that the Russians are involved in the Hunter Biden email issue” as well as making the pointed explanation that “it is high time that Russia stopped interfering in our democracy.” Former First Lady and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton tried to implicate Trump in a Russian collusion scandal after her failed campaign in 2016 with manufactured evidence, known as the Steele Dossier and the Liberal media ran with it trying to overthrow the duly elected president.
Now, even in the face of Biden’s admission that everything publicly put out is “his property,” and knowing the lies put out by one-time high-ranking public officials, the Democrat’s lapdogs are circling the wagons in an attempt to protect the father facing an impending impeachment inquiry and the son who has already been indicted on gun charges in federal court.
