Huge Wins for Trump-Endorsed Candidates

Huge Wins for Trump-Endorsed Candidates

Trump is ELATED About THESE Big Wins!

(RightWing.org) – On Tuesday, June 7, seven states held GOP primary elections. As expected, the media kept a close eye on Trump’s endorsements. It’s almost become a rite of passage for some media outlets, especially if a Trump endorsee loses somewhere along the way. Regardless, the media didn’t have many losses to report on by Wednesday morning.

Trump endorsed 16 candidates on Tuesday, and they didn’t disappoint him. Of all the primary elections so far, this is the first one where Trump essentially played it safe. In Pennsylvania, the former president endorsed political newcomer Dr. Oz Mehmet, who won after his primary opponent recently conceded. In Georgia, Trump hit a troubled spot, but that wasn’t unexpected by most political analysts. On Tuesday night, Trump racked up huge wins, and the question remains, will he keep up the strong endorsement record?

Trump Wins Big on Tuesday Night

Unlike the past several months of the primary season, Trump didn’t get involved in any heavily contested races on Tuesday night. Instead, he only endorsed incumbents seeking reelection and avoided backing any challengers. In addition, the former president didn’t back a challenger to Rep. David Valadao (R-CA) despite the Republican voting to impeach Trump in January 2021 over the January 6 Capitol Hill riot.

California, Iowa, Mississippi, Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico, and South Dakota held primaries. Trump refrained from endorsing anyone in New Jersey or New Mexico. Still, on Wednesday morning, the former president posted on Truth Social to thank voters for supporting the candidates he endorsed across the country.

Some of the more notable winners included Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA), Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA), Iowa Republican Gov. Kim Reynolds, South Dakota Republican Gov. Kristi Noem, and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA).

Which Winners Could Have the Biggest Impact in 2023?

Several winners of the GOP primaries could significantly impact the MAGA agenda if they win their general election, as most experts predict heading into the November general election.

Chief among them is McCarthy. As the House Minority Leader, he is most likely to assume the Speaker of the House position if the GOP takes back the lower chamber in November. The implications couldn’t be larger as Republicans look to shut down the radical Democratic agenda of President Joe Biden and hold investigations surrounding possible corruption by the president over his son’s (Hunter Biden) business dealings.

Sen. Grassley may also be critical if the GOP takes back the Senate. A united Republican front in the Senate coupled with House-led Republicans would ensure Biden becomes a lame-duck president as they set the agenda heading into the 2024 presidential election.

As more primary elections loom through the summer, Trump will undoubtedly endorse more candidates as America heads down the final stretch towards the November elections. Will they all be winners? Time will tell.
