How Can Americans Trust Biden?

(RightWing.org) – Of all the character traits needed for effective leadership, perhaps the three most important are transparency, truth, and trust. Without them, it’s difficult, if not impossible, to lead long-term. Just a few months ago, President Joe Biden said on inauguration day that he wanted to be a president for all Americans – Democrats, Republicans, and independents. Yet, his actions and deeds continue to undermine that promise.

Biden’s past with the truth is sketchy. In the 1988 presidential campaign, Biden got caught plagiarizing, stealing other people’s messages, and lied about facts surrounding his own life, as detailed in this article in August 2020. He’s a habitual liar, and he’s doing it again. Except for this time, he’s getting called out for it in the liberal media. That’s a true shocker. It makes one wonder if the liberal media is calling him out for his lack of truthfulness, how can Americans trust Biden?

In recent weeks, Biden says odd things like migrants aren’t coming north because of his previous statements, even though they say that’s the reason. He said that not enough vaccines were available on inauguration day even though millions of people were getting them. Previously, we detailed during the campaign how he lied about Obamacare, socialized medicine, fracking and eliminating fossil fuels, and Russian disinformation.

This past week, Biden let two doozies slip that shouldn’t go unnoticed.

Biden Continues to Blatantly Lied About Georgia’s Election Reforms

Last week, the president finally gave his first press conference. In at least three references, Biden lied about the GA law. Making it worse, during an ESPN interview on Wednesday, March 31, Biden repeated the same lies after being called out for lying by the Washington Post.

In particular, Biden keeps repeating the three following falsehoods about the Georgia election reform bill:

The voting will end at 5 p.m. when people get off from work.
People cannot receive water or food while standing in line.
Absentee ballots are being eliminated.

Biden makes the claim the rules are sick and Un-American. Yet, Biden’s repeated claims are false as detailed here.

Biden Lies About His Tax Plan

On Wednesday, the president was in Pittsburgh to tout his infrastructure and tax plan, and he continued to mislead Americans. He claims that no one earning under $400,000 will see an increase in their federal taxes, “period.” However, a closer look at his plan reveals that’s not true. The Biden tax plan buries taxes in the form of fees and hides them behind regulations.

In addition, Charlie Cook called out his lie on National Review, stating that the $400,000 doesn’t refer to an individual. It refers to gross family incomes. When asked, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki confirmed it this week during a regular press briefing.

Biden’s words are not a faux pas or a simple mistake. It’s not a slip-up. He wants people to believe what he’s saying even though his own press secretary and the media say his words are not true. However, there are many more lies Biden’s telling about his tax plans that are not being talked about much in the media.

How much longer can Americans continue to trust President Biden? At some point, Biden’s words are going to catch up with him, and the press won’t be able to bury or hide the president’s lies.
