Once again we have another example of Dems looking out for their own as opposed to truly seeking justice. The Democrat-controlled House just turned down a GOP-backed measure to censure House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) over his involvement in the Ukrainian impeachment movement. If the measure had passed, it would have allowed Congress to swiftly and publicly rebuke Schiff for misconduct.
Freedom Caucus Chairman Andy Biggs (R-AZ) initiated the censure proposal by stating that Schiff’s comments were “egregiously false” and a “fabricated retelling.” It seems that obtaining insider information to instigate an impeachment inquiry is acceptable behavior for Liberals. Even House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) stood up for Schiff.
“Chairman Schiff is a great American patriot. Our country is extremely well-served by his serious, smart and strategic leadership to protect our elections, national security and democracy – which sadly stands in stark contrast to Republicans in the Congress who cover up the truth, look the other way when the President invites foreign governments to interfere in our elections and vote against legislation to secure the ballot from foreign attacks.”
-Nancy Pelosi
Additionally, Schiff took to Twitter to defend himself by condemning Republicans instead of owning up to his bad behavior.
It will be said of House Republicans,
When they found they lacked the courage to confront the most dangerous and unethical president in American history,
They consoled themselves by attacking those who did.

This is the sort of hyper-partisan nonsense that Democrats engage with when they’re in control of a portion of Congress. It can only be stopped by voting them out of office.
