(RightWing.org) – Republicans have been raising concerns about electronic voting machines since before last November’s disputed election – and now they’ve received support from an unexpected direction. One of the top Democrat dirty-tricks specialists just admitted that the voting machines that collected the general election results don’t work.
Marc Elias, a former attorney for failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, is no stranger to political dirty tricks. In 2016 he allegedly helped siphon off money from Clinton’s campaign to fund the fake Russia collusion dossier. In 2020 he successfully pushed for election law reforms that made it easy for the Democrats to harvest mail-in ballots.
Claudia Tenney Finally Wins 22nd-NY Seat in Congress for GOP … Not So Fast. Marc Elias steps in. https://t.co/1cRuLVqnkj

On February 5, Elias appeared in court appealing a congressional election in New York, where he unsuccessfully challenged a Republican win – because, he said, voting machines aren’t reliable.
In the election, Republican Claudia Tenney beat Democrat Anthony Brindisi by 109 votes to reclaim New York’s 22nd congressional district, but Elias wouldn’t accept the result and took it to court. Writing about the case, he said, “there is reason to believe that voting tabulation machines misread hundreds if not thousands of valid votes.”
That’s what Republicans have been saying since November, and the Democrats have shouted them down. Now it seems that when the vote doesn’t go their way, they don’t trust voting machines, either.
