(RightWing.org) – President Donald Trump has carefully crafted his task force focused on re-opening the American economy. The “Opening Up America Again Congressional Group” consists of almost 70 senators, 52 of which are Republicans. However, there’s one GOP Senator notably missing from the group.
Mitt Romney of Utah.
The White House announces that all Senate Republicans except Mitt Romney—who voted to impeach Trump on one of two counts in February—have ben invited to join a bipartisan task force on reopening the economy.

Romney was the only member of the GOP to vote in favor of either impeachment charge against the president. Ever since then, he’s been out of Trump’s good graces. Some were wondering if Romney would ever be in the president’s favor again. The senator’s exclusion from this vital task force shows at least not yet.
At the end of the day, we can’t blame Trump for this decision. Unity among Republicans and those working closely with the White House is important. Romney proved that, when push comes to shove, he’s not a team player.
