Future DNC Convention Uncertain

(RightWing.org) – Where President Donald Trump and his supporters are eager to hold massive rallies, Democrats call for people to stay home. The Republican National Convention (RNC) is still set to hold an in-person event, but the DNC is still working out its plans. Recent statements from top-level Democrats have only added to the confusion about how the DNC convention will be held, or if there will be one at all.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) rejected the idea that there should be an in-person convention during the summer. Talks of hosting a virtual convention are on the table, though the party hasn’t made an official statement. At best, it seems like there’s indecision.

However, a Fox News clip from Bill Hemmer’s segment where he speaks with DNC spokesperson Xochitl Hinojosa paints a very different story.

Where most of the conversation revolved around the Flynn situation, this clip at the end of that segment may have been an accidental slip of the tongue. Is there going to be a convention and, if so, is Joe Biden going to be the nominee? Hinojosa’s statements have yet to be confirmed, but, either way, this summer is sure to be very interesting as convention dates for each party draw nearer.
