(RightWing.org) – Former National Security Advisor (NSA) Michael Flynn is one of the people hurt the most by Russiagate. The retired general was targeted by the FBI, which eventually led to him pleading guilty to lying. But after years of strife, he finally scored a victory.
On June 24, Judge Emmet Sullivan was ordered to dismiss the Flynn case by the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia. In the majority opinion for the court, Judge Neomi Rao said Sullivan failed to “justify the district court’s unprecedented intrusions on individual liberty” and the Justice Department’s authority. President Donald Trump celebrated the ruling on Twitter.

The decision wraps up a contentious case that gripped the nation. It pitted a court against the executive branch and the rights granted to it in the Constitution. General Flynn was another victim of overreaching officials hellbent on going after the president no matter what the cost.
